Mangoes, anyone?

Almost as if they read my mind! Now excuse me while I rush and order some by DHL :)

p.s. Oh and I don't agree about the best mangoes being found in Bombay, though :)

I loved langda because of the slight sourness associated with it.

Mumbai? NO WAY!
Have you eaten Chausas from Allahabad? Nothing comes close to that!!! Oh how I miss those... :-(

m : yes i know, thats why i like langda too.

joy forever : i had an argument about this with K who is from Bombay and thinks Ratnagiri Alphonsos the best of all! I must say I have never had them directly from the orchard like he has had. Yes I know Chausas, we had them in Delhi and I liked them too. But most of all I liked the ones that our local sabziwala used to get from his orchard in Meerut, they were called "Ratol", small mangoes that I could eat by the dozen with a thin peel and an enormous taste!

I've never had "Ratol", so can't comment. But I love those small ones whose insides can be sucked out by making a small hole at the top. Even I had arguments with my Mumbai friends regarding Alphonsos.
And thanks for commenting on my blog!
