Sitting in an AC room all day learning something that I already know. Sniffing at frequent intervals, and nearly strangling myself trying not to cough. Surving through pure willpower, water and Ricola. Longing to come home. I do. K meets me at the station and tells me of what happened in Mumbai today. The day just dropped to its lowest. Sadness and Silence. Thoughts and Prayers. For the city and its people.

It seems you had some other problem... hope it's sorted out now. The Mumbai blasts were very unfortunate... We can only pray for the victims' families. My uncle who live in Mumbai came home from office after 9 last night, and could not be contacted on mobile whole evening. We were worried although we had got a 3rd hand information that he was safe. I can very well imagine the trauma of the family members of the deceased/ injured who got no news.

Life is dangerous wherever we live it. In London we just got over the trauma of last years tube blasts and finished an anniversary to mourn and mark all those who lost their lives. But the terror seems relentless. But spirits and resilience overcome so much. Everday we are older sadder and no wiser.
