Thanks, I had no idea this city had such a map.
Not that it helps when I'm stuck on the Peddar Road flyover.

I miss mumbai!. Someone gave me this map in 2001, but i hardly used it...going by my gut feeling was so much more fun....getting lost meant finding out newer stations.

Puja greetings to you too, M.

arthur quiller couch: no that it doesn't. you could abandon the car and head to the nearest train station instead just to use this map, though :) kidding!

anyesha: i never used this map either. just found it on the internet, just reading the station names made me so nostalgic. i did the same random thing too, was more fun, and then i knew them by heart.

hi Bidi

Wanted to post a comment and say hello! I'm in Bombay right now after 4 years. I never realized how much I had missed this place, I took a trip down memory lane reliving my days as a college student.... the train ride to college, the bus ride back home, the walk on Marine Drive, the vada pau at the corner shop and the Energee (Pineapple flavored) in the shack at the corner. God, I've missed them all.

Hope all goes well with you, happy Dussera to you and good wishes and good health to yourself and Kaushik.

Hey Bidi,
Did you know the bus routes in B'bay are also now online (website has a few glitches but check it out)

They've got maps and all, its really quite useful for any first timer in Bombay and also for veterans!
